During big fluff friend events, the fluff friends server has quite high slow down. One of the recommendations is to use the old style of petting and feeding or in other words, page-reload. Sometime last year, they implemented the ajaxy-version which has no reload for the entire page. They say this can speed up the pages.
The smart developers added a setting where you can easily switch from one version to the other. It’s pretty well hidden. It’s, oddly, considered to be a privacy setting, or at least that’s where they put the option.
Go to Fluff Friends Privay Options and scroll down down to the Petting and Feeding Settings. You;ll probably find a single setting there. It probably reads out like this.
When I pet or feed a Fluff from a (fluff)Book page, use the new “faster” implementation, described here: YES
You’ll see the button Change To Yes. Just click that button and you’ll get the old style petting and fluff. From my experience, it takes a couple of refreshes.
From my testing, it didn’t make a difference, really, if the server has a high load. You’ll just have to try it.
